Heldon Forged Brass Flare Nut Revision
Heldon Products Australia Pty. Ltd. would like to advise customers of the following revisions to its existing range of Forged Brass Flare Nuts.
1. ALL HELDON FLARE NUTS ARE NOW R410A RATED.
Heldon’s “Standard” range of forged flare nuts are now R410A rated with a Safe Working Pressure figure of 4800 kPa. Heldon’s existing “R410A” range has been made obsolete by this action.
From this moment on, existing stock levels of this obsolete item will be rundown until such time as they are depleted. Their part numbers will then be struck off from the Heldon catalogue.
Heldon forged flare nut part number will no longer make reference to R410A in their nomenclature.
Note that the 5/16” FSAE x ¼” forged flare nut WILL continue to be a stocked item. Its part number will change from 501-0504-410A to the new part number of 501-0504.
2. HELDON FORGED LONG BARREL FLARE NUTS ARE NOW FROST PROOF.
502 series Frost Proof Long Barrel Flare Nuts have replaced the 500 series Long Barrel Flare
Nuts.
A "Winter Sale" will be held until September 1st, 2010 to runout the obsolete 500 series Long Barrel Flare Nuts. Please contact the Customer Supply Solutions team on (03) 9286 4222 to pick up a bargain before all stock is depleted. Because once they are sold out, the 500 series will be deleted from the Heldon range.

Heldon’s “Standard” range of Forged Flare Nuts (Long Barrel & Short Barrel) now offers the benefit of being compatible with both the High Pressure refrigerants such as R410A & CO2 (Subcritical) as well as the traditional refrigerants like R134a, R407C, R404A etc.
The series numbers for Heldon’s Forged Brass Flare Nut will be as follows:
501 series – Forged Short Barrel Flare Nuts.
502 series – Forged Frost Proof Long Barrel Flare Nuts.
The aim of this revision of Forged Flare Nuts was to simplify ordering, reduce customer’s
inventory and to provide greater convenience for all parties.
